Meet Shelley

 

Shelley’s commitment to building relationships is a core value in serving clients, leading the FFR Wealth Team, and supporting the greater community. As a Certified Financial Planner™, the standard of excellence for financial planners, her extensive financial training and decades of experience informs and empowers others to pursue and achieve their personal vision of freedom. Shelley leads a team of specialists who provide strategic solutions for financial and retirement planning, business planning, wealth transition, tax strategies, investment management, and tailored services.

The sixth of twelve children raised on a 300-acre farm in the Licking River Valley of Kentucky, Shelley’s background is rooted in family legacy, personal accountability, and service to others. She and her husband, Rich, and their children and grandchildren, remain dedicated to the Northern Kentucky region.

In November 2022, Shelley was elected to the Kentucky State Senate, representing the 24th Senatorial District of Campbell, Pendleton, and Bracken Counties, and part of Kenton County. As a State Senator, Shelley is eager to advocate for and work on behalf of the residents of her district. 

Shelley also volunteers with the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce as Vice Chair of Membership, Sponsorship and Events, as well as with the Women’s Initiative of the Chamber of Commerce Steering Committee, where she is helping to create meaningful programming for women in various career stages. Shelley is active in the Diocese of Covington, St. Mary’s Parish, the Rosie Reds philanthropic organization, Covington Business Council, and many other activities that support our region and the people who help it flourish.
